The glands we use come only from accepted cattle which have been tested as BSE-negative. BSE (Mad Cow Disease), or bovine spongiform encephalopathy, is an insidious disease that can be transmitted through animal tissues. Our glandular products must test negative for beta-methyl skatole (a sign of decay) and must meet stringent limits for organic peroxides (an indication of rancidity). Our Glandular Complex is:
